Hailing from the Connecticut shoreline, Dan got his acting start in the sparsely-seen, nevertheless timeless middle school musical, “Pompadours and Poodle Skirts,” with hopes of wooing that girl he liked. While initially cast as an ancillary chorus member, Dan was recast as one of the leads, getting him even closer to that girl he liked.
Even with a perfectly coiffed pompadour, Dan’s acting desire was tempered when he couldn’t curry favor with now wholly overstated middle school girl he liked. Dan turned to playing volleyball and soccer, as well as drumming in mildly successful indie rock bands until he gave acting another go during his senior year of college. He was totally hooked.
Dan continues to study acting with Van Hansis at MN Studios, having previously studied at AMAW, T. Schreiber Studio, the Lee Strasberg Institute, and UCB for both the full improv and sketch programs. His work can be seen in numerous short films, web series, new media projects, national and international commercials.
